 Disability Studies Quarterly (DSQ) is the journal of the Society for Disability Studies (SDS). It is a multidisciplinary and international journal of interest to social scientists, scholars in the humanities, disability rights advocates, creative writers, and others concerned with the issues of people with disabilities. It represents the full range of methods, epistemologies, perspectives, and content that the multidisciplinary field of disability studies embraces. DSQ is committed to developing theoretical and practical knowledge about disability and to promoting the full and equal participation of persons with disabilities in society.

International Journal for Equity in Health is an open access journal, which aims to further the state of knowledge about equity in health, and address the systematic and potentially remediable differences in health across populations and population groups defined socially, economically, demographically, or geographically. It focuses on advances in the areas of contributions to the conceptualization of influences on health and inequities in health and their mode of operation; advances in methods for studying inequities and evaluating interventions and policies to reduce them; pathways through which influences on health influence equity in health; evaluations of interventions that reduce inequities in health; and development, implementation, and evaluation of policies for reducing inequities in health

Globalization in the journal will refer to economic, political, social and technological processes, which transcend the geopolitical boundaries of the nation-state and have resulted in increased interconnectedness of the world. The journal examines market liberalization, the changing role of nation-state, supra-national structures, poverty and equality, the changing distribution of communicable and non-communicable diseases and the risk factors associated with these diseases, and the growing awareness of our collective responsibility for one another. Global warming, global governance, global public goods for health, equity and justice and a host of related topics are emerging as priorities and illustrate the need for interdisciplinary thinking and debate
