The WHO QualityRights tool kit has been developed to support countries in assessing and improving the quality and human rights of their mental health and social care facilities. The tool kit is based on an extensive international review by people with mental disabilities and their organizations. It has been pilot-tested in low-, middle- and high-income countries and is designed to be applied in all of these resource settings

The long-term goal of these recommendations is the design and implementation of a uniform and harmonised system that will ensure procurement of pharmaceutical products of defined quality for supply to patients, based on a mutually recognised process of prequalification of products and manufacturers by means of product dossier evaluation and inspection of manufacturing sites. These may be adapted to meet individual needs where necessary, provided that the desired standards of quality are still achieved. The guide focusses on analysing the quality of both processes (how knowledge collection, analysis and dissemination is done) and knowledge (what is passed on and how this knowledge is applied). This document summarizes SEATS' experience in improving the quality of family planning and reproductive health services in a wide variety of settings. It outlines how SEATS approached "mainstreaming" continuous quality improvement in its subprojects, with special emphasis on making services more responsive to clients' concerns. It shows how the project's approach to improving and measuring the quality of care evolved and suggests how to build on the project's experience. The report includes brief case studies from Albania, Cambodia, Eritrea, Russia, Senegal, Turkey, Zambia and Zimbabwe, and describes how the program improved the quality of care in hospitals, public and private clinics, community-based distribution programs, and private midwifery practices. This report is intended for program managers at the systems level, such as those involved with national, regional, or municipal activities, or in institutions such as NGOs or hospitals
