"The Community Advocates training manual is a curriculum developed by Population Council, Nigeria under the HIV Prevention Project for Vulnerable Youth in Northern Nigeria funded by USAID/Nigeria. Attempts to bring key issues on HIV/AIDS care into one practical and concise publication. It is intended to provide guidance to all partners in the provision of HIV/AIDS care and support in resource poor settings. It identifies the key elements and interventions in the provision of care and support for people living with HIV/AIDS and affected communities. Each element of care is discussed and references for more information are provided.
