NFNC's aims are to improve the country's food situation and the nutritional status of its population and to coordinate programmes and activities carried out by government and non-government organisations on matters relating to food and nutrition. NFNC's objectives are to promote, improve and maintain nutrition well-being through multi-sectoral collaboration and through the Primary and Preventative Health Services of the Ministry of Health.
