ILEP members support medical, scientific, social and humanitarian activities throughout the world to cure and rehabilitate people affected by leprosy and to prevent and eventually eradicate the disease. Almost half of all new leprosy cases detected each year are found in members' programmes. Between them ILEP members contribute an annual budget of $US60 million to anti-leprosy work, funding more than a thousand projects in 97 countries

Works to ensure that the population and health policies of international institutions supported by the United States government actively promote women's sexual and reproductive health. CHANGE takes its mandate from the Programme of Action of the 1194 International Conference on Population and Development, and other relevant agreements that call upon governments and international agencies to achieve these same objectives. Specifically we seek to translate the language of these documents into practical, operational and measueable within and across the areas of family planning, STDs and HIV, and gender violence. Christian Aid is an agency of the churches in the UK and Ireland. It works wherever the need is the greatest, irrespective of religion. It supports local organisations to undestand local needs. It strives for a new world, transformed by an end to poverty, and campaigns to change the rules that keep people poor
The Christian Aid resources centre has a collection of more than 5,000 books and 90 journals, specialising in economic and social development. The subject areas covered include HIV/AIDS, agriculture, environment, poverty reduction, gender, conflict, emergencies, Planning Monitoring and Evaluation (PME), capacity building, trade issues and land reform. There is a fully searchable database of 17,000 records, including books, documents, journals, videos, articles, websites and archive materials (not available through the website). The services are targeted at Christian Aid staff, but visitors with an appointment are welcome. The library is open Monday - Friday, 10am - midday, and 2 pm - 4pm
