MSH, a global health nonprofit organization, uses proven approaches developed over 40 years to help leaders, health managers, and communities in developing nations build stronger health systems for greater health impact.  Founded in 1971, MSH has worked in over 150 countries with policymakers, health professionals, and health care consumers to improve the quality, availability and affordability of health services. Working with governments, donors, nongovernmental organizations, the private sector, and health agencies, MSH responds to priority health problems such as HIV & AIDS; tuberculosis; malaria; maternal, newborn and child health; family planning and reproductive health; and chronic non-communicable diseases such as cancer, diabetes, and lung and heart disease.

MSSRF is doing research in five areas, coastal systems; biodiversity and biotechnology; ecotechnology and sustainable agriculture; reaching the unreached; and education, communication, training and capacity building. The flagship project of the Informatics Group is the Information Village Research Project, which has now transferred to the National Virtual Academy for Food Security and Rural Prosperity. Apart from the headquarters at Chennai, the MSSRF has many field centres in Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Orissa. MSSRF works with underpriveleged groups including dalits and tribal populations.

Bellanet helps the international community to work together more effectively, especially through the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs). Through this work they aim to contribute to better-informed policies, a more coordinated approach to development, and ultimately, measurably greater impact. The programme focuses on building institutional and individual collaboration skills, and maximizing the potential of ICTs to support collaborative work.

The aim of IDDC is to promote inclusive development internationally, with a special focus on promoting the full and effective enjoyment of human rights by all persons with disabilities living in economically poor communities in lower and middle-income countries."

The PACOS trust is a community-based organisation based in Sabah in Malaysia. It aims to improve the quality of life of the indigenous communities in the region through strengthening community organisations, strengthening indigenous knowledge systems and natural resource management, and improving early childhood care and development. The trust runs a variety of programmes, one being on community early childhood care and development. They run yearly training sessions for indigenous pre-school teachers on how to run a community pre-school. This programme also constantly re-evaluates the indigenous learning curriculum so that it is appropriate to the needs of the community
